John Humphreys, LMT
John Humphreys is a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist who has been living and working in the Rutland Vermont area since 2012. He received his primary massage therapy training in 2011 at the Center for Natural Wellness, School for Massage Therapy in Albany NY. This program consisted of over 1000 training hours with concentrations in Swedish Massage and Shiatsu. Additionally, a little over half of this training program was committed to education on Anatomy, Physiology, Myology, Kinesiology and Pathology studies.
After receiving his NY State license in early 2012, John enroll in the Upledger Institute to receive training in Craniosacral Therapy. He has since completed the first four primary training programs from Upledger (CST-1, CST-2, SER-1, SER-2) and regularly incorporates their techniques into his massage work in addition to providing full Craniosacral Therapy sessions.
Presently John is enrolled in The Barral Institute for a training program on Visceral Manipulation (VM) and has completed the first course (VM-1). This training has already become a vitally important addition to John’s work helping him to address issues like acid reflux, digestive ailments and even some instances of back pain related to tightened ligaments of the internal organs.
Through all of his education and experience John has developed a polished therapeutic style of body work to help his clients to achieve improved wellness in their lives.
